Since 2012, the horror anthology series V/H/S has delivered its fair share of innovative found-footage thrills from both emerging and established directors across four memorable instalments. V/H/S 99 continues this tradition with new twists; a highly innovative mixtape delivered by an exciting group of genre filmmakers, including Blumhouse alum Maggie Levin (INTO THE DARK: MY VALENTINE), musician-turned-filmmaker Flying Lotus (KUSO), Joseph & Vanessa Winter (DEADSTREAM), Johannes Roberts (47 METERS DOWN), and Tyler MacIntyre (TRAGEDY GIRLS).

The concept gets refreshingly dynamic this time around, with taped-off-TV broadcasts of quintessential ’90s programming gone horribly wrong; a string of supernatural incidents captured at the dawn of a new millennium are layered over each other on a single nightmarish videotape, complete with tracking errors and bursts of static. Harkening back to the final punk rock analog days of VHS, with a dash of Y2K dread, V/H/S 99 invites you back to the 90s to experience the fifth instalment of this beloved horror franchise.
